At Tote & Tale, we are committed to delivering your order as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please review our shipping policy below for details on processing times, delivery options, and international shipping considerations.
1. Order Processing Time
- Orders are processed within 2-5 business days after payment is received, with production and fulfilment times varying depending on the item and shipping destination.
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
- Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details (if applicable).
2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
- Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location, selected shipping method, and fulfilment location.
- Estimated delivery times vary by region:
- United States & Canada: 7-15 business days
- United Kingdom & Europe: 7-20 business days
- Rest of the World: 10-30 business days
- Please note that delivery times are estimates and may be affected by external factors such as carrier delays, customs processing, or local postal service issues.
3. International Shipping
- Orders are fulfilled from various locations depending on product availability and the destination country.
- International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees, which are determined by your local government. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.
- Tote & Tale is not responsible for customs delays, refused shipments, additional duties imposed by your country, or any costs incurred due to non-compliance with local import regulations.
4. Order Tracking
- If your selected shipping method includes tracking, you will receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped.
- Tracking updates are provided by the carrier and may take 24-48 hours to reflect in the system. Tote & Tale is not responsible for incorrect or missing tracking updates by third-party carriers.
5. Incorrect Address or Undeliverable Packages
- Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout.
- If an incorrect address is provided and the package is returned to us, the customer is responsible for additional shipping fees to reship the order. If the order is not returned, Tote & Tale is not responsible for refunding or replacing the order.
- If a package is deemed undeliverable and is not returned to us, Tote & Tale is not responsible for refunding or replacing the order.
6. Lost or Stolen Packages
- Tote & Tale is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they have been marked as "delivered" by the carrier.
- If you believe your package has been lost, please contact the carrier directly for assistance.
- If your package has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please reach out to us at toteandtale@gmail.com for further assistance. However, Tote & Tale is not responsible for carrier-related delays and will not issue refunds due to extended delivery times outside our control.
7. Delayed or Missing Deliveries
- While we strive for timely deliveries, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, customs processing, or carrier issues.
- If your package is significantly delayed beyond the estimated timeframe, please contact us and we will assist in tracking the shipment.
8. Returns Due to Shipping Issues
- If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, unclaimed delivery, or refusal to pay customs duties, we may issue a refund minus original shipping costs or reship the package at the customer's expense.
- Returns due to shipping issues must comply with our Refund Policy.
